1. Who we are

This website is operated by AA29 D.O.O. (Studio A29 – Architecture & Design), Dolac 9, 51000 Rijeka, Croatia (OIB: 98987203696), which is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Studio A29 works on projects in Croatia and Italy.

For any question about this policy or your personal data, write to info@studio-a29.com.

2. What data we process

Visiting the website. When you open our pages, our web server automatically records technical data such as your IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, browser type and operating system. We use this data only to deliver the website, keep it secure and fix technical problems. It is not used to identify you or build a profile.

Contacting us. If you write to us by email, we process your email address, name and any information you include in your message, in order to reply and, where relevant, to prepare an offer or carry out a project with you.

Cookies. The website uses only technical cookies needed for it to work and to remember your choice on the cookie notice. We do not use analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. See our cookie policy.

3. Legal basis

  • Delivering and protecting the website: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Replying to your messages and preparing or carrying out a project: steps taken at your request before a contract, or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Keeping records required by tax and accounting law in Italy or Croatia, where a business relationship follows: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. Third-party services

  • Web hosting: the website is stored on servers of our hosting provider, who processes data on our behalf.
  • Fonts: to display text correctly, pages load fonts from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) and Adobe Fonts (Adobe Systems Software Ireland Ltd. / Adobe Inc.). When fonts are loaded, your browser connects to their servers, which receive your IP address. Both companies may transfer data to the USA; they are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Social media: our pages contain simple links to our Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn profiles. No data is sent to these platforms unless you click a link; after that, the privacy policy of the respective platform applies.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else, except where required by law.

5. How long we keep data

Server logs are kept only for a short period for security purposes and are then deleted by the hosting provider. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting project. Where a contract follows, documents are kept for the periods required by Italian or Croatian law (generally up to 10 years for accounting and tax records).

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability (Articles 15–21 GDPR). To exercise these rights, write to info@studio-a29.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work, or where you believe the infringement took place. In Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it); in Croatia it is the Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka – AZOP (azop.hr).

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page.
